Victor DiGesu
American, 1914-1988

Victor DiGesu worked for Walt Disney Studios as a cartoonist and studied art at the Jepson Art Institute and Chouinard Art institute. He also studied in New York and Paris, at the Grand Chaumier and Andre L’Hote Intsitute. Specializing in landscape in the French tradition he resided in France after serving with the US Army during WWII. He held exhibits throughout the 1940s in galleries in Paris, Rome and London, and later in California. He was married to painter Janet Arment de La Roche.
