CAA Artist Member Norma Zeigle Bhaskar passed away in 2018, leaving behind a rich treasure-trove of bold, imaginative artworks spanning her long career. While she creates a strong visual impact with her bold forms and rich, vivid colors, there is also an innocent, vulnerable quality about her paintings that touches emotional chords of a more delicate nature. This mixture of strength and delicacy adds to the enduring pleasure provided by her work.
CAA’s memorial exhibition for Norma Bhaskar is called CHRONICLE OF A COLORIST. Take Note: This celebration of her lifetime in art, as evidenced by all her remaining available paintings and monoprints, is virtual-only.
