Clearly Abstract

This group show is a new conceptual exhibit consisting of eleven artists–painters, printmakers, and sculptors–who all work abstractly. Each artist works by responding to forces behind what they experience in the visible world. They have a desire to simplify the object that is inspiring them to create and wish for more freedom in their expression. This exhibition focuses on the history of abstract art and how these CAA Artist Members’ work engages with the movement. This display will be eye-opening in more ways than one!

Included artists are: Ann Artz, Anne Downs, Kathryn Greenwald, Heidi Hybl, Peggy Jelmini, Robert McIntyre, Craig Lauterbach, Noro Partido, Dennis Peak, Chris Sawyer, Robin Sawyer.
