Virginia Conroy studied at the Chouinard Art Institute, Los Angeles and the San Francisco Art Institute. After graduating from Chouinard, as a commercial artist she drew cartoons and did fashion illustration for publications.  Her work is in the permanent collection of the Monterey Peninsula Museum of Art and was part of the San Francisco Art Institute “Traveling Exhibitions 1966 through 1968. Virginia was married to American cartoonist Eldon Dedini.
