Peggy Olsen

For Peggy Olsen, landscapes were a means of expressing new ways of seeing color, which she loved and used in ways that excite the eye. Her versatility was expressed in a wide range of subjects, with California landscape her specialty. Oil paint was her medium whether she painted on canvas, board or heavyweight paper.

After a career as a social worker and as a mother, Peggy began painting at the age of forty. She had been a member of Carmel Art Association since 1986. Among the top ten sellers for most of those years, she has had numerous highly successful solo shows.
