For Peggy Olsen, landscapes are a means of expressing new ways of seeing color, which she loves and uses in ways that excite the eye. Her versatility is expressed in a wide range of subjects, with California landscape her specialty. Oil paint is her medium whether she paints on canvas, board or heavyweight paper.
After a career as a social worker and as a mother, Peggy began painting at the age of forty. She has been a member of Carmel Art Association since 1986. Among the top ten sellers for most of those years, she has had numerous highly successful solo shows.
