Venturing into the visual arts at age forty, Noro Partido studied at Monterey Peninsula College and through workshops at other venues. She channels her studio energies toward painting and printmaking.
“Making art has been an outlet for more abstract expression, which provides a counterbalance to my literal nature. I am inspired by many sources: nature and the elements, family, friends and current events. Delving into the process of monotypes, I find myself at a new threshold of development. I am gravitating toward color and experimenting with mixed media. I’m filled with wonder when I pull a print that exceeds my expectations.” – Noro Partido
