Julie Brown Smith’s black and white paintings, drawings, and linocuts are about people, both in the urban environment and in the more intimate setting of the photobooth. Her work has been featured in films and on television, and is in over two-hundred private, public and corporate national and international collections, including that of Eric Clapton. Her photobooth protraits were included in Raynal Pellicer’s Photobooth: The Art of the Automatic Protrait, published in France and the United States by Abrams. She is a member of The Boston Printmakers and the Los Angeles Printmaking Society.
