THE TANOUS FAMILY COLLECTION

A portion of this memorial exhibition can be viewed on Carmel Art Association’s Beardsley Gallery walls from August 3 through September 4, 2023.

The entire collection of available Tanous artworks is shown below as digital images. Each digital image is labeled as to title, medium, dimensions, and price. Make note of titles you would like to view first-hand. If any of these are not part of the show installation itself, simply email  [email protected]  to schedule an in-gallery appointment to view your favorites in person.

Some of these artworks are framed; some are presented unframed.

It you live too far away from the gallery to make a visit, please request detail shots and descriptions.

Prices reflect CAA’s goal to place all the remaining artworks from the Tanous family’s collection into private or public collections, per the artist’s own wishes. As with all CAA purchases, all sales are final, and shipping can be arranged at the buyer’s expense.

You are invited to attend the opening reception for Joe’s memorial exhibition on Saturday, August 12, from 4 to 7 pm. The following day, Sunday, August 13 at 1:30 pm, you are also welcome to come and hear two of Joe’s children talk about their father and his life in art. Artist Member Will Bullas will serve as the moderator for this gathering!

The gallery is open Thursdays through Mondays from 10 am to 5 pm in its historic home on Dolores Street between 5th & 6th Avenues, Carmel-by-the-Sea.
