Dolores Chiappone

For over five decades Dolores Chiappone has created mindscapes in oil directly from her rich imagination and multi-cultural life experiences. She resided in Mexico for many years and cites Pre-Columbian art as her primary influence.
Dolores considers her paintings to be pure Realism, reflecting life in its purest, most cognitive form. Her work sings of a place where spirit converges with the physical plane —-an inner world where tactile circumstances merge with subjective mythologies of the soul.

Dolores Chiappone was first juried into the Carmel Art Association in 1982. After an absence of some twenty years, she was reinstated as an Artist Member in late 2016.
