Sheila Delimont is known for her luminous paintings of her native California and the West. Prior to becoming a professional artist, Sheila had a distinguished career as a city and county planner, winning awards for her work on open space and resource conservation issues. Her love and respect for nature are now being translated into her paintings. Sheila has a studio in the historic Pacific Grove Art Center and paints with pastels, watercolors, and oils.
Her paintings are in collections throughout the United States, including three paintings in the collections of Dina Eastwood and Clint Eastwood. She has been featured in American Artist Magazine and in California Landscape Paintings.
