Andy Williams is an award-winning landscape artist who started painting in watercolor in 1973 and received his Masters in Fine Arts from San Jose State in 1985. His primary medium is now oil on canvas, and in recent years he has concentrated on Plein-air painting in the Early California style, studying with noted California painters such as William Rushton and Randal Sexton.
Williams is a member of Monterey Bay Plein Air Painters Association and was accepted into the 2007 Monterey Maritime Museum landscape painting show “The Legacy Continues”. He became a member of the Carmel Art Association in 2008.
